Branding and Style for a Discord Community
This Discord community reached out to me as they began transitioning away from a serious and competetive gaming group to a more relaxed place to hang out and game. They were looking to change up their branding to reflect this shift in community values. The original logo and style (below) features a spooky dark jungle with an aggressive looking logo symbolizing their original competitivity.
It was voiced that they did want to keep the colors so I rolled with that. They also asked for a more "silly" and "unserious" vibe to the logo and styling. Thus I started drawing up some snakes! After some back and forth to tweak the designs, this is the final product:
Given that Discord has the ability to add custom Emoji, we also worked out a few emoji options.
